I'm an artist with no Photoshop at all, halp *shot*

Can someone help me? I don't have photoshop, maybe I can download a Photoshop Trail and someone give me serial number @_@ the photoshop I have doesn't work on Vista, its to old looool. The one my friend gave me doesn't work either (Because when you open it, it doesn't open.) Someone help me @_@ or else I won't do art for a very long time. Thought I have doodles.. Look at the doodles!

anywhore, check this out right? first off, you're using vista, of course none of the other photoshops aren't going to work, you're best bet is to snag CS-CS3-CS4

OOOOOOR you can just do what I did, save ALL of your junk that you want, then whipe your computer clean, look for a computer tech guy, and get yourself Windows XP...if you have any other concerns or questions please don't hesitate to ask me more

Well, if need be, maybe try purchasing an Educational copy of the latest of Photoshop. You really should not have someone share their serial number with you as Adobe limits their software to one installation per Serial Number. Kind of a drag, but they have to fight piracy in order to stay in business.

However, there is a free option that may work. Perhaps try playing around with GIMP? I have no idea how effective this program is, but it might be worth a try. [link]

If there is anything I REALLY hate about Microsoft, it's the lack of back-wards compatibility in their newer operating systems. I was so mad when I found out that a number of my favorite applications and games for Windows 95/98 did not run on Windows XP when I had to upgrade from Windows ME.

Anyway, maybe try shopping on Ebay for an educational copy of Photoshop or a slightly older version of Photoshop. Man, if only Adobe programs weren't so bloody expensive!

Ah I see.. Maybe that is why Photoshop isn't working for me at the moment. My friend gave me her's to install into this computer, problem is, it never opens. Maybe I'll get the circling thing and it says it is loading, but it never opens up.

I know.. Photoshop is way to expensive these days, but hey.. Since when was doing a great hobby cheap?
